Statement:

Ideas ferment in the studio – submerge and resurface. Each new piece of work – like a sheet of old blotting paper – a sea of a thousand words, a thousand thoughts. Layers and overlap spotlighting a fragment – creating a whole.

Soft clay as fragile as leaves holding us in time, in place, provoking identity and ritual.

Outlines into the earth – tracing ourselves.

A reliquary of ideas – stored, protected, etched in the shadows.

Cloth folded.
