Statement:
In my work I specialise in making individual ‘one-off’ pieces of flatware which are wall mounted and may be viewed as paintings. Essentially I am an image maker who draws and paints onto a clay surface. My work is based on drawings made in my environment. The colours and textures reflect this. Nature’s irregular asymmetrical harmony and seasonal moods are captured in these spontaneous and painterly images.
